Susan G Komen For The Cure is encouaging everyone to post on Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other social media using the hashtag #fightbreastcancer.

Because every 69 seconds a woman dies from breast cancer somewhere in the world.

So Tweet, Facebook and Blog today using #fightbreastcancer and #breastcancer and help spread awareness. You’ve 69 seconds today so help spread the word.

Our Susan G Komen 3 Day For The Cure team is selling tickets for the upcoming Shopping Extravaganza fundraiser November 6th from 10am – 4pm in Lake Elsinore.

The Shopping Extravaganza is a full girly-girl kind of day featuring a catered lunch,  complimentary baggage check, an energy and pamper station, free gift wrapping, live music and a raffle with over $30,000 in prizes.
Tickets are $20 each additional raffle tickets sales benefit participating non-profits and charities will be sold.  Every ticket holder attending the event will be treated to a goodie bag filled with exclusive retailer discounts, offers and promotional goodies.

Team Walkers 4 Life is holding a Join a Team Day Training Walk on Sunday, August 22nd. Come walk with us at 6:30am at Creekside Park in Canyon Hills, Lake Elsinore and learn more about the Susan G Komen 3 Day For The Cure. In 2010 we have a team in San Diego as well as San Francisco. If you would like to join our team and have a wonderful experience come out and do a training walk with us.

Our team walking in the San Diego Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure walk will be holding a Bunco 4 Boobs fundraiser on August 21st at 2pm at Diana’s Dance Company in Menifee to raise money for our team’s walk. Our team is excited to put on this great event, not only will be playing Bunco, a popular dice game, we will also have a raffle. Entry in to the Bunco game is a $20 donation, which includes one free raffle entry. You can earn 4 more entries when you bring a friend to play as well.

Another Race, I just can’t stop I Keep Going. As many of you know I just can’t stop when it come to Breast Cancer Awareness and fundraising. I am walking in The Susan G Komen 3 Day For The Cure in San Francisco in October, the Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore in October and the Race For The Cure in Temecula also in October then one more walk the Susan G Komen For The 3 Day in San Diego which will be in November. With all of that I have signed up for one more Race the Race For The Cure in Orange County. I have signed up to run the 5k with my fellow survivor sister Cindy Golden.

Since I haven’t run a 5k in over a year I have 8 weeks to get trained to run this 5k. Before having breast cancer I never ran a 5k, my first 5k was the Race For The Cure in Temecula when I was a 3 year survivor. I am have ran a couple of races a year, but know it has been over a year since I ran a 5k so I figure it is about time to do it again. So here I go or should I say I keep going, raising awareness and raising fund for the fight against cancer.
