Now that the 2010 3-Day for the Cure season is over some of our team members are starting a running group starting in January. In order to keep myself motivated I have started a team for the Race for the Cure in Los Angeles, our team is Runners 4 Life. I have ran the Race for the Cure before in L.A. and the Inland Empire, in 2010 my teammate Cindy and I ran in the Orange County and Inland Empire Race for the Cure events, and in San Diego Cindy ran once again and I walked with my daughter.

Race For The Cure

Another Race, I just can’t stop I Keep Going. As many of you know I just can’t stop when it come to Breast Cancer Awareness and fundraising. I am walking in The Susan G Komen 3 Day For The Cure in San Francisco in October, the Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore in October and the Race For The Cure in Temecula also in October then one more walk the Susan G Komen For The 3 Day in San Diego which will be in November. With all of that I have signed up for one more Race the Race For The Cure in Orange County. I have signed up to run the 5k with my fellow survivor sister Cindy Golden.

Since I haven’t run a 5k in over a year I have 8 weeks to get trained to run this 5k. Before having breast cancer I never ran a 5k, my first 5k was the Race For The Cure in Temecula when I was a 3 year survivor. I am have ran a couple of races a year, but know it has been over a year since I ran a 5k so I figure it is about time to do it again. So here I go or should I say I keep going, raising awareness and raising fund for the fight against cancer. If you would like to donate to Susan G Komen or the American Cancer Society please click on a link on the right side a make a tax deductible donation and join me in the fight against cancer. It’s Personal!!!!
