This weekend I will be walking with a friend on her team at the Menifee Relay For Life.

I have created a logo and screen printed the team shirts for the Relay For Life Team.

I have joined team Inspired to Act, it should be a fun weekend.  I am also stepping in to help run the Luminaria program. So if you want to have a Luminaria lit for a loved one that is fighting cancer, has won the battle or has lost their battle with cancer stop by the Relay on Saturday and purchase a Luminaria.  For a $10 donation your Luminaria will be lit Saturday night and stay lit all night long while walkers walk the track.

Tristen and his Team Kisses for Tristen weren’t able to attend this years Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore due to the fact that Tristen’s Leukemia had come back and he had been receiving treatment. Tristen would have started Kindergarten this year but has been in the hospital fighting his Lunkemia instead. Please pray from Tristen that is can beat this dreaded disease.

The Relay is in just 2 days and we are putting the final touches on our event. So far we have 47 teams signed up with a total of 566 walkers. We are expecting about 100 survivors to be at our survivor ceremony in the morning to kick off the event. There are many fun filled activities planned for the day stop by and see what the Relay is all about.

Relay for Life is held on October 10th – 11th at Canyon Lake Middle School off of Railroad Canyon Road in Lake Elsinore. Surivor ceremony starts at 9am with a special Luminaria ceremony at 9am were we honor those survivors and remember those we have lost.

Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore is just 32 days away and I have not just one but two teams this year. I have our team Healthy Steps to a Cure and this year I started a second all Survivor team, team Survivor Stars.

With just 32 days left until Relay we are in need of more donations. The Lumiaria ceremony at the Realy For Life is a special time. Our Luminaria ceremony begins at 9pm, we honor those survivors and remember those we have lost. We light all the Luminarias that have been purchased and place them around the track, all walkers walk together for a lap around the track in silence then the Luminairas remain lit the rest of the evening and early morning hours while the walkers walk their laps.

The Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore is having a Storm Night to raise
awareness and money for the 2009 Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore.

All tickets are $8 each with a portion of the proceeds going to the Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore.
