This video describes the feeling of being at a Relay For Life very well.

We have started our team for the 2011 Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore. The Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore will be held on October 9th-10th, 2011 at Canyon Lake Middle School. You can visit our team page at http://www.main.acsevents.org/goto/walkers4life2011.
The Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore is a 24 hour event where teams take turn walking or running the track in the fight against cancer. The 24 hour starts as we celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost and fight back against this dreaded disease. If you would like to make a donation or purchase a Luminaria to be lit in honor of a survivor or in memory of a loved one lost you may do so online at http://www.main.acsevents.org/goto/walkers4life2011.
On October 9th with the help of Diana’s Dance Company we put on a flash mob at the Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore. We had a lot of fun and had a great turn out.
Another Race, I just can’t stop I Keep Going. As many of you know I just can’t stop when it come to Breast Cancer Awareness and fundraising. I am walking in The Susan G Komen 3 Day For The Cure in San Francisco in October, the Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore in October and the Race For The Cure in Temecula also in October then one more walk the Susan G Komen For The 3 Day in San Diego which will be in November. With all of that I have signed up for one more Race the Race For The Cure in Orange County. I have signed up to run the 5k with my fellow survivor sister Cindy Golden.
Since I haven’t run a 5k in over a year I have 8 weeks to get trained to run this 5k. Before having breast cancer I never ran a 5k, my first 5k was the Race For The Cure in Temecula when I was a 3 year survivor. I am have ran a couple of races a year, but know it has been over a year since I ran a 5k so I figure it is about time to do it again. So here I go or should I say I keep going, raising awareness and raising fund for the fight against cancer. If you would like to donate to Susan G Komen or the American Cancer Society please click on a link on the right side a make a tax deductible donation and join me in the fight against cancer. It’s Personal!!!!
Walkers for life has created a time for the first ever Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in the Inland Empire. The Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk will be held on Saturday July 17th at the Shoppes in Chino Hills. You can donate or join our team at http://www.main.acsevents.org/goto/walkers4lifeteam.

Making Strides is a celebration of survivorship, an occasion to express hope, for a cure. We are please to be a part of this first annual event.

Walkers 4 Life has started a team for our fury friends at the first annual Bark For Life in Lake Elsinore. Our team name for this event is Paws 4 Life.
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.
So often, our dogs help us through our darkest hours whether it be guiding the blind, watching over the young, or supporting those who are sick – those with cancer. Bark for Life will celebrate our canine caregivers and help the American Cancer Society save lives.
